🎯 Sample-Accurate Timing

Professional-grade precision using AVAudioEngine for rock-solid timing you can trust, from 20 to 400 BPM.

🎵 Flexible Time Signatures

Pick a common meter in one tap, or any meter from 1 to 16 beats over 2, 4, 8 or 16, with eighth, sixteenth and triplet subdivisions. Odd meters show their accent groups (7/8 · 2+2+3), and 6/8, 9/8 and 12/8 can count the dotted beat or every eighth.

Build your internal clock by practicing with periodic silence intervals.

📈 Tempo Changer

Gradually increase tempo over time or bars to push your limits progressively.

🥁 Multiple Sounds

Choose from five sounds: click, clave, woodblock, cowbell, or a spoken voice count, with adjustable pitch.

⏱️ Count-In and Auto Stop

Count in 1, 2 or 4 bars with a click or a voice count. Stop on its own after a number of bars or a set time, with a bar counter on screen. Turn on a soft screen flash to see every beat.

🎼 Play a Collection

Group presets into a setlist or practice routine, then step through them with previous and next buttons. Arrow keys, Page Up / Page Down and Bluetooth foot pedals work too.

Play an electronic drum kit over MIDI and see live timing for every hit. Try Practice mode, which hides the numbers until a short summary, and Free Time mode, where the click goes silent and Makonome tracks your tempo drift. Part of Pro: turn it on in Settings → Experimental.
